Jason Schroeder: I look for opportunities to transform the ordinary into extra-ordinary. My images are scenes from everyday life taken while walking and commuting in Chicago, mid-Michigan, and other travels. I maintain awareness of my surroundings and light--when it's dramatic or I notice something unusual, I make a photograph.
